Why is download incompatible with 2 different Windows machines?

I have tried downloading the Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium trial into two machines.  Both give error 101.

Machine 1: HP E235f with AMD Phenom II X6 1035t processor with 8 GB RAM, 64-bit Operating system OS: Windows 7 Professional Service Pack 1 with 760 GB free space

Machine 2: Dell Latitude E6500 with Intel 2 Duo CPU P8600 processor with 3.45 GB RAM OS: Windows XP Professional Ver 2002 Service Pack 3, 60 GB free space

These recent machines should be compatible and have sufficient free space on the disk and yet the install fails.

Error 101 is reported if the extraction fails. The trial software is downloaded in compressed files that you extract so that the installer can run. Insufficient disk space on the destination drive can cause extraction errors.

  1. Check your hard drive to make sure that there is sufficient space for the download and extraction.
  2. If necessary, remove some programs and files to create enough available hard disk space for the download and extraction.
  3. Quit Adobe Download Assistant and then restart it. The extraction process starts automatically.

I have a little bit same question!
When windows 10 starts loading, it stops and tell me to uninstall an incompatible program, Sonic Studio DLA. The pc does not list this, nor does it come up with any results when searching. looking at the internet, this issue seems to go back a long way, even mentioned when trying to install XP!
Some one told me add question on (link removed by moderator)

If this is indeed a common problem, why doesn't Microsoft have an easy answer? Can anybody else help?
