why is it saying You are running an operating system that Photoshop no longer supports

I just bought Abode Student cloud. When I try and download Photoshop on to my mac it keeps coming up with the error "You are running an operating system that Photoshop no longer supports" Does anyone know what this operating system is? Can anyone help?

Check your MAC OS version

First, click on the Apple icon in the top left corner of your screen. From there, you can click 'About this Mac'. You'll now see a window in the middle of your screen with information about the Mac you're using.

Hi,

To install Creative Cloud / photoshop  you need atleast  OS 10.9 or later .

System requirements | Creative Cloud

Please refer :-System requirements | Photoshop

How do I do that? I just made sure all my Mac software updates were updated.
