Why is it so hard to keep this stuff running?

I just spent an hour and a half updating, uninstalling, installing and re-updating my cloud subscription. I have to do this regularly and I am only a casual user. This is insane compared to ANY other platform and gets more complex everytime Adobe makes a change. I am sick of having to deal with customer support to keep your stuff working.

Turn off automatic app updates from your CC Desktop App Preferences.  You're not required to update every time there's a new version unless you need to -- i.e. something is broken or the update contains new features you really want.
