Why Lightroom Classic update from 7.2 to 7.3 isn't possible?

Boring situation here on my Mac (high sierra).

In the help menu the "Update" button is in light grey color (disactivated).

Does any one know why?

Similar issue already for update from 7.0 to 7.1

Only way was to reinstall completely the software...

Something is going wrong and I can't find out what.

Thanks for suggestions.

Michel, sorry you are facing difficulties applying the Lightroom Classic CC 7.3.1 update on macOS 10.13.4.

You mentioned the Updates feature is currently greyed out in Lightroom Classic CC.  Do you have Photoshop CC installed?  Are updates also greyed out in Photoshop CC?

As a next step, I would recommend removing and reinstalling Lightroom Classic CC.  This should restore the ability to update Lightroom.

Please update this discussion if you have any questions or encounter any errors, Michel.

    Hi michell23998400,

Sorry that the "update" option in the Help menu is grayed out in Lightroom Classic CC 7.2 preventing you to update it to the 7.3.1 version.

Could you please take a look at the solutions mentioned in this article Available updates not listed for Adobe Creative Cloud applications and let us know if that helps?

    Thanks,

    Akash

    Hi Akash,

    Thanks for your answer.

Unfortunately I know this list and tried all options until reinstalling the software.

Of course I this case as the latest revision is uploaded and the update applied.

    A little heavy...

It didn't solve my previous question why is the "update" option grayed out in the help menu as it is again the case...?

    Thanks so much,

    Michel
