Why my InDesign application crashes after the migration?

Hello,

I have migrated my OS from my old laptop (macbook pro 15") to the new macbook pro 13" retina both with Mac OS 10.9.4.

After the migration all the files and application have been correctly moved over the new laptop, creative suite CS5 included.

Once I started to use it I realized that InDesign is the only software that stopped working, when I try to open the app it crashes.

Since I needed it ASAP I have uninstalled the CS5 and upgraded to CS6 hoping that it would have fixed the problem but it didn't.

I have been looking on internet and tried to follows instructions on how to delete every single files of the application and install it back, but is still not working.

Could anyone help me to figure out how to make it work?

Thank you.

'migrating' adobe apps is problematic.  you should properly install them.

at this point, uninstall and clean per Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

then reinstall.  if you need installation files,

    Downloads available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.
