    1. sign out and then back in to your cc desktop app, retry.

    2. if that fails, follow solution 2 here and retry, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

    3.  if that fails and if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here:  http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html

and activate with your adobe id.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.

the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).

failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

Ok it is now at 22% downloaded, this is since 11am this morning which I have to say is silly slow, my connection speed is not that bad so I can only imagine the slowness is at their end, I seem to remember having similar problems downoading photoshop.  It's a bit useless considering the overinflated pricing plan they have in place. Just not good enough really.
