Question

WHY WONT Creative Cloud(CC) STAY ON MY TOOL BAR?

Every single time I turn my computer off, or even if it just is in sleep mode without any CC program actively running NOT ONLY DOES CC LEAVE MY TOOLBAR, IT LOGS ME OUT ENTIRELY. EVERYTIME.

This bug drives me insane, I spend minutes every day going through my applications folder to ask CC to reopen.

Please dear god fix this.

Maybe someone has found a solution other than just having an illustrator file open all of the time (which is absolutely absurd, does Adobe care about UX at all?????) ?

I think it has to do with authentication proxies. Even though I am connected to the internet everytime, I cannot connect to Adobe's servers. After the last update, now Creative cloud stays on my toolbar, but I cannot connect - ever - from my work. I have to use my phone as a hotspot, hop onto that internet, and download all of my CC content via my incredibly expensive phone data. Adobe needs to find a way to work with authentication proxies. Do you have any recommendation as to getting around authentication proxies. This thread explains my issues completely:

Creative Cloud & authenticating proxies?

However, I am not an administrator - and therefore cannot whitelist adobe's servers. There needs to be a better work-around - this issue is incredibly frustrating.

Yes

I have "Launch at login" selected the entire time.

This is not the issue I am experiencing.

Hi Mawlsetz,

Kindly check if the below settings are selected in the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app:

If the settings are fine, then this could be a connectivity issue, i would recommend you to reset the hosts file your machine and check:
