Wifi crashes when I try to download software from Adobe CC?

I found this very strange; as I was setting up my laptop from scratch (just installed an SSD), I was wondering why my wifi connection kept crashing. I was thinking there was something wrong with my laptop or that I messed something up when I tried to install the SSD, but then I realized it was only happening when I tried to download from the CC windows app. Any idea why this is happening and how I can fix it?
