Windows 10 Premiere Pro Installer not opening

Signed up for the 7 day trial of Premiere Pro today and when I attempt to open the installer via the downloads folder an hourglass appears as if its loading, howerver nothing happens. I've attempted to open as an admin, and open in compatability mode (windows 8), both of which yielded the same results. Windows just updated as of today and my graphics drivers are also up to date.

 

My PC specs are:

Windows 10 Home

i7-6700 CPU at 3.4GHz

32GB DDR4 RAM

GPU: Nvidia 1080 w/ 8GB of memory

I did not see anything stating Premiere was dependent on another program, thus I did not have CC installed. I installed CC via the Microsoft Store and Premiere is now working fine. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
