Windows 7 hangs when updating any app

This just started happening with the latest CC update. I have a dozen programs that need updating.  No mater which one I click, Windows hangs after a few minutes. Locks up solid. Need to reboot. Nothing in the error logs. Happens every single time. Tried removing and installing the CC desktop, no help.

Any suggestions?

    Hi;

    Tried that. I finally tried booting in safe mode. Then the installs worked.

    Please try the following steps and share the results.

    1. Open an app.
    2. Go to help> updates and check only the updates specific to that applications.
