Greetings. I have a new PC with windows 8 to run a printer. I usually use CC on my Mac. I've tried installing and it then I cant get it to run. I get an Adobe error msg saying the file is missing or damaged.

I have tried uninstalling app and deleting files in adobe program files, restarting, etc. Please help!

Correct answer Govardhan.V

I have PS elements on there now, but this problem was happening before I installed that (from CD).

Make sure Adobe Creative Cloud option is not listed under Control Panel.

Also , if present delete Adobe Creative Cloud folder from Program Files(x86) >Adobe.

Adobe Application Manager and OOBE from Program Files(x86)>Common Files> Adobe.

Every time we attempt to install Creative Cloud ,  it creates new folders. so we need to make sure they are deleted.

Click on the below link and download Adobe Application Manager  and install the same.

http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/creativesuite/cc/win/ApplicationManager9.0_all.exe

Once the installation process is completed , it will create Adobe application manager shortcut on Desktop.

Double click on it and it will start update process and gets updated to Creative Cloud .

Thank you, I have tried all those steps and I still seem to have the problem. Once it installs, the adobe error pops up that it is missing or damaged.
