how do I transfer my windows copy of cs6 to My mac book pro (Apple)?

    Your existing serial number is Windows only. It will not work on a Mac.

    You have to apply to Adobe for a platform swap and get a Mac serial number.

    Then you download the Mac version of DW CS6, install then enter your Mac serial number.

    While you're waiting, you can install the Mac trial version and run it for free in trial mode for 30 days. Then you can enter your Mac serial number when you receive it.
