Won't install on my MacBook Pro

I just paid for the subscription.  I download.  I open the file, it says to double click on the folder to install.  I double click on it and nothing happens.  I've tried multiple times, I'm signed in to my account.  It all should work.  Oh, the first time I tried it it asked for access to my downloads or documents, I can't remember which one.  But it just sits there and doesn't do anything.  Can someone help?

Have you started by downloading and installing the Cloud desktop app?

Once installed, use the desktop app to download and install the Creaitve Cloud apps you've subscribed to.
