Wrong serial #

I dowloaded the trial version of Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium Student and Teacher Edition for Macs.  At the end of the trial I opted to purchase.  I was then sent a serial # for Windows that clearly does not work.  When I called support the only option was to return the product, which will be refunded in 5-7 days.  They were unable to provide me a new serial # for Macs and told the only option was to purchase it again after my money has been refunded. 

Once I get my money back how should I go about purchasing this, if the link through the software does not work and provides me with the wrong computer version of the software?

Before anyone considers that I had somehow requested the wrong software, I had downloaded the correct trial version and been working with it on my computer without trouble through the trial version.

    You will want to make sure and purchase the Mac version as opposed to the Windows version when making your purchase.  You should then be able to enter the serial number into your already installed trial version of the software.
