wrong serial number for lightroom 5

I am trialling Lightroom 5.7 on my desktop. When I decided to buy it I could only find a page to pay for Lightroom 6 (for desktop.) I selected this, thinking it would give me an upgrade, and paid online (AUD186).  When I downloaded Lightroom 6 I discovered it won't run on my 32 bit PC! And the serial number I received won't work with Lightroom 5.

So now I still have a trial version of Lightroom 5 but am $186 out of pocket. How can transfer the payment to my Lightroom 5??
