Question

Your Photoshop License expired contact IT administrator

I previously had adobe through having a package created through the Adobe Admin Console. Recently I started getting that error message Photoshop License expired contact IT administrator. I ended up getting my own personal license and I'm still having the same issue. I made sure to uninstall any adobe product and log out of that account. I'm able to install the apps no problem and they are shown as avaliable under my personal account. I did try some of the troubleshooting issues (Removing host files, Credential Manager) I found and they all haven't worked.

I'm assuming the issue has to do with the previously download applications via admin console but for some reason it's registering the new account/license. I'm just out of ideas for what to do.

Hi @KittyFine,

We appreciate you contacting us. I checked your account details and found that you have an active individual subscription for CC all apps. Are you getting this message while using this account?

Could you share a screenshot?

We're here to help.

Thanks for the update, KittyFine. Is there any software from your school still installed? Have you contacted your school's Creative Cloud plan administrator to see if they have any steps you need to implement to use an individual subscription on the computer? Did you remove the installed Adobe software or just sign out and then back in using the steps listed in https://adobe.ly/3YjuHV5? ^JW

@KittyFine

Delete the entire contents of the OOBE folder:

1) Quit the Creative Cloud desktop app from the gear icon in the upper-right corner.

2) Browse to the following location based on your operating system.

    A) Mac OS: /Users/<user name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
NOTE: \Users\<user name>\Library\ is hidden by default. To unhide see below*

    B) Windows: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
NOTE: C:\Users\<user name>\AppData is hidden by default.  To unhide see below*
