Connecting a website to an email question

Say I have a portfolio website that I have a Contact me text form. Do I need to have a third-party (usually along with a fee of some sort) to successfully link my email account (if that email address is not included on the webpage)?

That sound fantastic - to say the least!

By any chance, can it automatically be forwarded to an Outlook account?

You can forward the email submissions anywhere you want. It doesn't matter where it is hosted so if you are using Microsoft 365 with Outlook, or whether you just prefer Outlook as a program and have your mail received in the app, it doesn't really matter.

The contact form's processing script must contain a reference to your active email address so you can receive mail.

You need an active email address on AppleMail, Gmail, Yahoo or any other free webmail service.

If you use Adobe Portfolio for your website, you merely enter your active email address in the Contact Form's settings panel. Portfolio takes care of the rest. 🙂

I've long since stopped using Outlook & never looked back.

Read your webmail service's documentation about mail forwarding to Outlook.
