I have updated to the latest version of Dreamweaver cc (19) and there are error messages coming up on the bootstrap 4.3.1.css page. Lots of the same errors 'expected RBRACE on lines …..', . Also two other errors 'duplicate property 'text-decoration' found' and 'duplicate property 'position' found. Is this anything to do with me updating to latest version or is it nothing to worry about? Hi.When I define a site in DW 15 or 19 on macOS everything works fine and I get a positive result after testing the connection. I set the checkmark for save. I restart DW.Result:The Login Data are gone. They haven't been saved.I can reproduce the problem.I used a workaround to solve it: I duplicated the the site definition (it was an imported one). With the duplicated definition it worked, it is saved as expected.Is that a known bug?Is there may be a workaround for the import of site definition in form of a manipulation of the file rights/permissions?Independent of that:In DW 19 I can choose the "FTP via SSL/TLS - explicit Encryption". It works fine.In DW 15, with the same webserver and the same login data, it does not work with that type. It only works with the Type "FTP".Is that a known bug in DW 15?Thanks for your help?

I have redone my website in DW. The files are the way they are suppose to be HOWEVER, when I upload them through filezilla, they revert back to an older version. Is this a DW problem or a Filezilla problem??????? TIA

Bonjour,J'utilise Dreamweaver CS5.5 avec Windows 10Je suis en mode "classique" avec un écran fractionné : "code" à gauche, "création" à droiteAuparavant dans la vue du code, lorsque une ligne de code était trop longue elle était affichée sur deux ou trois lignes ce qui permettait de la voir en entier.A la suite d'une mauvaise manip que je n'ai pas remarquée immédiatement,  la vue code a maintenant une barre de défilement horizontale (scroll) ce qui fait qu'on ne peut plus voir une ligne de code en entier, ce qui est très pénible.Comment revenir au mode précédent c'est-à-dire supprimer cette barre de défilement tout en conservant la vue "fractionnée" ?Merci par avant de votre aide.Jean

I am still learning boostrap and am having trouble making some customized navigation bars. I am stuck on a few points.I have a second navigation bar (in addition to the main navigation bar at the top of the page). I want to make 1) three sets of buttons (rows) with  2) a main button for each row (with subbuttons) and the titles are of various lengths. I want to be able to 3) make all the buttonst the same size. How can I do this?Also, 4) The text on my main nav bar buttons are all white but for some reason the text on this second group of buttons comes out black. I can't seem to figure out how to make this text white also.

When Adobe introduced the keyword shortcuts for Snippets, they disabled the ability to make Wrapping Snippets in that version of the program (I think CC2017.0). However, any wrapping snippets I had transferred from the old version still functioned correctly in the new, though I couldn't make a keyword shortcut (no big deal).That seems to be gone now.I was playing around making a wrapping <code></code> tagset snippet, as a possible work-around for another thread. I pieced it together in CC2015 and after transferring it to 18.1, it doesn't wrap. Neither do any of my old wrapping snippets that used to function on double click.I'm wondering if I have an install glitch or if Adobe has finally killed all wrapping snippets entirely in CC2018.1.

I have a creative cloud account. I upgraded my WAMP server. Now, when I open Dreamweaver I get  a Manage Sites... dialog that says the root folder to my website doe not exist. When I click Manage Sites, my site is identified. When I click import Site Dreamweaver defaults to looking for a file with an .ste extension. When I select all files I assumed that index.php is the file needed. However, Dreamweaver returns an error that says index.php is not a valid site definition file. I am not sure how to reestablish my site.

Hello,I have a question about auto code completion feature. I am trying Dreamveawer 19.0.1. I am working on a PHP project. My pages have "header.php" and "footer.php" included at certain places. I am also using jQuery and Bootstrap libraries from their CDN's in my project. I have enabled auto discover for outsourced files and it is working really efficent. My problem begins here. When i write code in "header.php", all bootstrap classes are loading very quick this is awesome. But when i start to work for example on "index.php" which includes "header.php", bootstrap classes are not loading for auto completion. I see all included files and so bootstrap.css on the top bar but Bootstrap CSS classes are not loading. This also happens in jQuery too. How can i make the code completion work for all php files which include a php file that has imported files from any CDN? I want the code completion work on all linked files and it does not matter how much system resources that it consumes! I hope

I have had this problem with DW ever since the release of DW 2019. I have called tech support and have not had the issue resolved.DW 2018.2 works just fine I can change files and connect to the FTP server and synchronize all changed files. I can try the same thing with DW 2019 and it goes through the motions, but never finds the changed files and does not upload any files. This problem is not machine dependent. It happens on 4 different computers.I have rebuilt my Surface Pro IV from a fresh install of Windows 10. Installed all the Adobe apps fresh and the problem persists.Very frustrated, India support told me that the new way to upload file to my server is to do it manually! I give up, no one seems to care.

I'm struggling to make a rollover button work in dreamweaver.I selected my original and rollover images to use for a button, but when I do it the rollover button pops up as a second image next to the original button instead of sitting on top of it.  I've had the issue and fixed it in the past but I'm struggling to figure it out now.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi.Still I'm not used to the code editor Brackets.Please, can you give me a hint how I can prevent a leading tab after an "enter" behind e.g. "<body>" or "<p>".I couldn't find an option inside the preferences.And please, how can I prevent Brackets from highlighting the start and the end tag, when you place the cursor directly in front of the end tag?The default background color of that highlighting is very dominant (brown) and the cursor get's almost invisible.Thanks.
