Questions

I create a website with about 20-30 pages in HTML. I then followed the instructions and added Google translate code and placed it into dreamweaver ( only to the index.html page). The issue is the I blank div appears with nothing in it. Not sure why. So I tried in in a new document and still nothing appears. Any idea why?

Hey there!Google doesn't really help me, not any other php tutorials or whatever, so I am asking here.I want to add opening hours to my companies web page. Hey there,I have recently took on the project of creating a website in Dreamweaver.  I took classes around 5 years ago but that was on an old version...plus I hadn't messed with it since then. I'm scared I've bit off more than I can chew.  But in any event, here is my current issue I have come across.  I need to create a photo slideshow on my site.  I have attempted watching the youtube videos and trying the "create your slideshow" websites.. I am just not having any luck.  I need a way to make a photo slideshow in the most simple way possible.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. 

Hi,I inserted a nav bar fixed to the top of my page. I am highlighting the text in the navbar that i want to create a link for.I am inserting the target page into the properties tab but nothing is happening.I have tried this with an external link with the same result and also with a different menu.Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?Damien.

Hi gang,So I was updating some content on the contact page but somehow the Testimonials has moved to the bottom, also the contact info. Let's say I wanted my page to display items (mostly DIVs and SPANs) with a slight animation. One-time, non-looping, just to "ooh!" the audience a little bit on page load.Here is an example of a page that fades all elements in at once, at the same time. It's not a big deal, but has a big effect on UX when compared to cold loading. Having just returned to coding after a few years off, I see that the "animation" property could potentially do the job on its own without any JS extras. Although when I went Googling for extras, I found them.In my ideal scenario, I'd like DIVs to load invisible and immediately fade in (w/ slight timing offset so we can recognize the individual modules) and even add a subtle slide effect to boot (ie, they'd slide in from 20-30px while fading in).If you make the offset timing random (for instance, 0ms to 50ms values, at random) then you could even create 1 function that affects all the tagged DIVs (that way you don't have to manually set the timer on the fade-in

Dreamweaver CC (2017) keeps crashing on Windows 10 upon opening certain files or saving a new file with certain code in it. It started happening since the latest updates were installed (yesterday). Hello all.  I'm new to Dreamweaver, and I've tried to find the answer on my question, but to no avail.I am looking to use Find and Replace to delete extraneous code not needed in the projects I am working on.  Even though this is specifically having to do with bolding text, I'm not sure how to approach it because of the variables needed.An example would be this:<span style="font-family: Arial, sans-serif;  mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman';  mso-font-kerning: 18.0pt; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;  font-weight: bold;">ABCD</span>would need to be changed to this:<span style="font-weight: bold;">ABCD</span>Or this:<span style="line-height: 115%;   font-family: Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: bold;">ABCD</span>to:<span style="font-weight: bold;">ABCD</span> The problem I'm having is to somehow make sure that if font-style: is included in the style, it is not omitted.  E.g.<span style="font-weight:

I have CC DW 2017.0.1 and I have created a regular expression that works in previous versions of Dreamweaver but it won't find or replace any matching text.  I am new to this version so I may have something incorrect in the settings.Please advise how I can replace the highlighted text which is in the code many times but with different values after the qs=

I can no longer find and Replace across multiple docs. Adobe's "improvements" just completely broke a good thing. I have tried using "Exceptions" and unchecking unwanted replacements in the Search panel, but when I click "Replace" it will go through each document and make a warning "ding" (with no dialog or anything in the output) and nothing is changed. Despite the search panel saying the correct number of replacements have been made.The old way was perfectly fine, even better because you could see the changes in context (assuming the new way would work as it's supposed to, but it doesn't). All I want to do is go through each item and ignore or approve the change. Why did Adobe get it into their heads I would want anything else?Regardless, now I have NOTHING. So DW is no longer productive, and I nee to go back to the last version, despite all the great improvements that have been made - the new find/replace just kills them all. Hi please help! We have had a problem with our computer recently and have had to reinstall all programmes back to the system. On dreamweaver before the problem I could upload directly from the local view straight up to the web but now for some reason this is not happening. I upload as I usually would and it comes up saying 'file activity complete' as usual but just does not show the changes on the actual webpage or does not show either on the remote server. I am currently in the process of re-designing my company website and I now have a functional website ready for upload to the internet. However, the website I have created requires prior approval from senior personnel before I can upload it and replace the current website. I am looking to 'secretly' publish the website online - so that the directors and senior personnel can access the entire website from any computer (using specific URLs that I provide) - but so that the general public cannot access the website, or view it in any search engines. Can anyone recommend the best way to do this? I was thinking of simply 'hiding' the website from search engines (so that the public cannot search for it and access it), but I can't find a way to do so! Many thanks in advance for any help!

We are using 2015 in class and I would like to set up 2017 as closely to that as possible. Mostly the properties bar at the bottom and the old style css sidebar if possible. I'm not seeing how to do this and would like to have it this way if I can. So how do I get these set up properly?

I am looking for a way to disable the tag highlight that is affected by the .CodeMirror-matchingtag selector. Using this selector only appears to allow the updating of the background color which turns it from illegible to at best a horrible user experience (Better than nothing but still way short).Unfortunately this feature is so poorly constructed it makes using dreamweaver a nightmare when working with projects that have a large amount of attributes in a tag.
