Hello

The documentation for Adobe Drive 5.0 says to use AAMEE 3.1 for deployment however when i try i get a valid installer could not be found.

I have the Adobe Drive 5.0 dmg mounted.

This worked fine for Adobe Drive 4

Any ideas?

Thanks

    Adobe Drive CC is a Creative Cloud item but it needs to be deployed with AAMEE 3.1 itself. You have to download the Adobe Drive 5 first and extract its contents to a folder anywhere on the hard drive. Then launch AAMEE 3.1 and use the usual process to create a package. Give the path of the extracted root folder for Adobe Drive 5 in the location that seeks the installer inside of AAMEE 3.1. Rest all process are same. Click on 64-bit package and Build (On Windows).

    Adobe Drive CC is not listed under CCP and hence CCP is not the right tool for deploying Adobe Drive CC. Please follow the steps mentioned in this guide: Administrator Guide for Adobe Drive CC: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/AdobeDrive/5.0.1/Adobe_Drive_Admin_Guide.pdf. Look for the section that says "Creating a deployment package".

    On Mac, you need to navigate to the volume that you mounted for Adobe Drive or type /Volumes/<name of the Adobe Drive folder> which is mostly like " /Volumes/AdobeDrive5-mul ".

    This doesn't work on OSX 10.7 10.8 and 10.9 for Adobe Drive 5 using aamee 3.1. I also get the message a valid installer could not be found. It worked fine on my Windows 7x64 machine.

    Was your issue resolved markc0?

    I just noticed that when i run the Adobe Drive 5 installer it wants to install adobe drive at the following location

    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Drive 4

    So i looked at the AdobeDrive5-mul.install.xml contents

    <Deployment>

      <Properties>

        <!--Note that the INSTALLDIR value is machine specific.  The value below is a suggested default value but may need to be overriden.-->

        <Property name="INSTALLDIR">/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Drive 4</Property>

        <Property name="installLanguage">cs_CZ</Property>

        <!--The set of valid languages includes:

    cs_CZ

    da_DK

    It installs just fine when running outside AAMEE and i don't think the install location matters but just wanted to point it out as this is the only discrepancy i could find.

    I'm getting the same results as bosn9r. I need to create a deployable package of Adobe Drive 5.0.2 for Mac clients (primarily OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion and 10.9 Mavericks), and I keep hitting the same roadblock ("A valid installer could not be found."). I'm running AAMEE 3.1.1 on a MacBook Pro running 10.9.2.

    Is there any way to get AAMEE 3.1.1 to recognize the mounted volume of Adobe Drive 5.0.2 as a folder containing a valid installer?

    PrintFusion45 - any thoughts or suggestions?

    Adobe Drive 5.0 is a Creative Cloud item:

    http://www.adobe.com/products/adobedrive.html

    What is Adobe Drive?

    Adobe® Drive CC (version 5) software enables seamless integration of a digital asset management (DAM) system with Adobe Creative Cloud™ and Creative Suite® 6 desktop applications. Once connected to a DAM server, you can access remote assets through your operating system file browser, through Adobe Bridge, or from the menus of CC and CS6 products that integrate with Drive: Adobe Photoshop®, Illustrator®, InDesign®, and InCopy®.

    If it's a Creative Cloud item then that means you probably need to use the Adobe Creative Cloud Packager.

    Where do I download Creative Cloud Packager?

    Log into creative.adobe.com; Creative Cloud Packager can be downloaded directly from the right hand side navigation bar of the Admin Console.
