ACC cannot install applications - Apple

Hello,

Adobe Creative Cloud can only currently install the Adobe Gaming SDK. I watched the applications folder as the installer was running, the installer installed up to Lightroom in its installation process. Once Lightroom was "installed" the folders return to being blue files and then delete themselves.  I work at a school a student help technician. We use the adobe product package creator to create installation packages.  I can get the desktop applications installed, but I have to do so separately from the package I created. The software products do not show up in the applications folder or the desktop application. We have a creative cloud license for the school. Note: a week or so ago everything was fine when we had the 2015 version, but after updating to 2017 it seems that the license was removed from the computer. About 4 out of 19 Apple Mac Pro Desktops have this issue. I got so desperate at one point that I nuked the hard drive and reinstalled the o.s., which solved nothing.

I use the creative cloud packager.   My packages previously worked and now they all fail right near the Flash install (Acrobat, Fuse, Speedgrade, fireworks, Flash,).  These programs install then it immediately rolls back.

I've downloaded a brand new CC packager app.  I've downloaded packages on three separate Macbooks.  I've attempted to install on freshly imaged Macbooks with both Sierra 10.12.3 and El Capitan.     Every single package that was freshly downloaded all fail and roll back.   Every one!

I've been installing Adobe CC with this  method for over a year now.  Don't treat me like an idiot and refer me to some old outdated document or outdated other posts.       Your packages have an issue!  You need to admit it and provide a solution.

Interestingly, your Windows applications seem to be working.  Your MAC packages are clearly broken!

Update:  Removing Scout from all packages during the packaging process fixed my issue.  It was the version mentioned in the link.   My Adobe Acrobat and Lightroom were much newer versions.

Here is the thing:  Does Adobe really have any idea how much time was wasted on this issue?  What turned out to be a 100 percent Adobe issue?  Next time, email your clients, post a notification where it's clearly visible (account team page or elsewhere), or if something is this broken, remove the damn package from the packager to begin with and a note that's it's been removed)   Stuff like this does not endear me to Adobe.

We've been three days working to solve this issue, doing a lot of tests. Seen some posts in forums reporting the same problem but no answer from Adobe till today. Kudos to Adobe support.
