Acrobat install problems

When I tried to install Acrobat through the setup program, it showed failure with the log:

 And in the Creative Cloud Destop it shows that Acrobat already exsited. I'm sure that I have uninstalled it before for some reasons. What's more, when I clicked the "uninstall" button for Acrobat in the Creative Cloud Destop, nothing happened.

Thanks for reaching out and sharing the log with us. From your description, it appears you are experiencing issues installing Acrobat. Please follow these steps:

Close Adobe processes:

Quit Acrobat, Reader, and Creative Cloud Desktop.

In Task Manager, end these processes if present: Acrobat.exe, AcroCEF.exe, AcroRd32.exe, CreativeCloud.exe, CCXProcess.exe, CCLibrary.exe, CoreSync.exe, AdobeIPCBroker.exe.

After this, try installing the app again, or open Creative Cloud Desktop and install Acrobat from there.

If the issue continues:

Clean up with Adobe tools:

Run the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool as Administrator. This tool is designed for advanced users and can resolve issues like removing old Adobe software, fixing corrupt installation files, and repairing host files to restore connections with Adobe servers.

Remove leftover folders if they exist:

Stop or disable Adobe Acrobat Update Service (AdobeARMservice) if it is still running.

Delete the following folders if the cleaner did not remove them:

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat*

C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat*

C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat*

C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Acrobat

%LocalAppData%\Adobe\Acrobat

%AppData%\Adobe\Acrobat

Reset Creative Cloud Desktop state:

Delete OOBE caches:

%AppData%\Adobe\OOBE

%LocalAppData%\Adobe\OOBE

After completing these steps, reboot your machine, reinstall the Creative Cloud Desktop app, and then attempt to install Acrobat again.
