Acrobat, it unexpectedly quit while reopening its window again?

When I quit or the program Acrobat Pro shuts down I can not relaunch Acrobat the only way I can relaunch it is be restarting the Mac. The errors reads. The last time you opened Acrobat, it unexpectedly quit while reopening its window again? It gives you two options Don't Open and Reopen but they don't work. Any ideas how to overcome this problem.

    Same problem for me, except it'll open for a few seconds then crashes each time. I've tried deleting preferences etc, but nothing doing. It was running absolutely fine until last night! Acrobat Pro 9 on a new Macbook Pro. Any help would be much appreciated!
