Acrobat Pro DC has just updated itself on MY OWN PC and is now in trial mode.  I now have to uninstall and reinstall a product THAT I HAVE ALREADY PAID FOR.  This is absolutely GD ridiculous!!!

    Hi msnead53,

As per the issue description mentioned above, acrobat pro dc is showing it is in trial mode after installing the update, is that correct?

Try the troubleshooting steps given in the following help document:

    Thanks,

    Shivam

You guys are just making this more frustrating--- It's in trial mode because we are using device licenses.  And if you hadn't split this thread off of the other one you would have more information.  We are using device licensing and you have denied us our right to upgrade to the latest version as you have decided to remove device licensing as an option for the new version even though we have paid for it.  And as you have done this you haven't taken all factors into account and now software is updating itself into unsupported scenarios like this and reverting to trial mode because my valid license is no longer valid.

My apologies, Msnead53, it appeared you were facing a different error from what was discussed in Creative Cloud update to 2019 now all apps Trial .

I will move this discussion back to the Deployment for Creative Cloud for Team, Enterprise, & CS forum.  I will also lock this discussion and reference it in Creative Cloud update to 2019 now all apps Trial to avoid any additional confusion.

I'm having the same issue with Acrobat DC on one of our macs. It seemed to update to 2019.010.20064 and now it's in trial mode. I uninstalled the app and made a new install using the CCPLauncher.dmg (which says won't install 2019 versions), but did a reinstall with the new package (that should contain the latest pre 2019 version) but it just installed 2019.010.20064 version and not an earlier one like 2019.008.20071 that doesn't go into trial mode. Would a reinstall of a license fix this issue? I haven't tried cause I'm worried it might break the other apps (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects) haven't flipped to trial mode (they are all the 2018 versions).
