Acrobat X Pro works on one computer but not the other

My company bought a few licenses but didn't keep track of which were used where.  We wanted to install Adobe X Pro on my co-workers computer but I didn't want to interrupt his work while I was trying to figure out which product key we hadn't used yet.  So I installed it on a different computer.  When I found the key that worked I deactivated it, uninstalled it from that computer and went to install it on my co-workers computer. It installed but when we opened the program it didn't give us any opportunity to accept the license and it closed. Every time we opened it, the program would close on it's own.  Does anyone know why this would happen and how I fix it?

Thank you.

That might be a difficult problem to troubleshoot since the product has been out of support for several years. Have you checked the product system requirements and matched it to the machine?
