Please add the ability to disable trials entirely from Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop.

We cannot allow users to install trials per policy, but Adobe is pushing use of Creative cloud for deploying so many of the apps that it's basically impossible to manage without it.
We need the ability to only show apps which have been pre-appoved for use (that we decide, not that Adobe wishes to advertize)

Hi @gregn86000995,

Thank you for reaching out. Based on your query, it appears you are looking for a way to only display pre-approved applications and to disable trials entirely from the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop application. At present, the option to customize the Creative Cloud Desktop panel to only show pre-approved applications is not available. However, I will ensure that your feedback is shared with the relevant team for consideration in future updates.

As a workaround, if you are looking to prevent end users from installing trial applications, we recommend creating customized managed packages for the Creative Cloud Desktop application using the Adobe Admin Console.

When you create and deploy packages to end-user computers, the Creative Cloud Desktop application is installed as part of the deployment. By default, users can access the Apps tab to install and update applications on their own.

To restrict this, you can use the Enable self-service install option to either allow (enable Apps panel) or disallow (disable Apps panel) users from installing applications and updates. If this option is disabled, users will not have the ability to install or update applications, and they will see a message in the Apps tab stating, "You don't have access to manage apps."

For more details on customizing the Creative Cloud Desktop application, please refer to this guide: https://adobe.ly/4nb3L4b

Additionally, you can create policies to control which applications users can install and update. More information is available here: https://adobe.ly/41YMjY2

Thank you for sharing your experience and helping us improve the product. Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.
