adding existing users to console when their old licence expires

we have added new licences to our console rather than renewing individual licences but the new licences can't be activated as the software is looking for the old profile. How do we resolve this?

Did you add those users to the admin console? There was a switch in the user management that allows users for a personal ID and a business ID. Maybe the users need to switch to the business ID?

In all cases, you can contact your adobe support via the support tab (chat and phone) using the admin console (you need to be an administrator, however).
