Admin Console Changes

Hi,

I can't believe that Adobe has changed the admin console rules that now if you have a claimed domain you cannot choose between creating a Federated ID and Adobe ID, Federated ID is the only option if the domain is claimed, this is a massive issue for our organization as we have both networked and non-networked devices in our fleet.  so just having Federated ID's will not work for us.

This is beyond reckless on the part of Adobe to not have consulted the Admins whether is was a good idea or not, and the answer I got back was well unclaim the domain and create adobe ID instead, yeah not going to happen for 900 users that we have.

all that was said was well we have heard you and we are going to fix this eventually, with no ETA, I have users that have started with my dept that are twirling their thumbs because they can't access Adobe Creative Cloud off network, which we don't have the ressources to provide them with two devices just because.

Unreal, Beyond frustrating to say the least Adobe just does whatever it wants without thought of consequences.

Hi @Gabriel29487908r14x

We apologize for the issues with user additions in the admin console. This feature is active for organizations on the new storage model. For better account control, we recommend Enterprise or Federated IDs, which default to SSO if you have claimed the domain. We’re aware of the limitation in recognizing users’ org affiliation and are introducing a feature to add users as Adobe IDs via an exception list. For details, please visit our help document: Domain enforcement for restricted authentication

Sigh,

Yeah of course my console does not have the option to disable domain enforcement, there is a business ID directory but of course it's grayed out can't change anything is that directory. we have several users right now that can't work on their machines because of this change.  with no option to give them the appropriate ID's why even change this feature it makes no sense to me we always had the right to choose what kind of ID's our users are given. not to be forced to have a federated ID, our security would not allow 900 users to be on adobe ID's so un-claiming our domain is not feasable.

Beyond disappointed with adobe right now.
