adobe 8 problems

i have a regestered version of 8  professional. it has been working fine till 2 days ago.

now it tells me that i need to activate to continue using this product. nothing has changed ,and nothing has been installed. it  will not connect to the

internet for verification. what can i do as adobe does not support any longer. i running  xp pro  adobe version  8.1.5 professional.
