Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app

I get this message when starting Creative Cloud Desktop Application version 5.8.0.592

 

"You are using the prerelease version of Creative Cloud for devices with an ARM processor, like the device you're using now. We don't have any desktop apps available for your device".

 

I have made the package in adobe admin console with self service and with an internal AUSST.

The package only includes Creative Cloud Desktop and then we let users manage their Adobe applications themselves based on what licenses they have.

 

Even if i try to do install it manually with downloaded CreativeCloudSet-Up.exe i get the same results.

 

We get this message on several computers in our organization, it has worked eralier on same macines.

 

We are not using computers with ARM processors and why does it say that we are using the prerelease version?

 

I have run the Log Collector tool and looked through the logs but I cant find anything related to why I get this messege.

 

Any ideas?

Yeah you did, i just wanted to make sure of that because not all the folks on the forum are technically blessed and I did not know you had such great debugging skills 🙂

Well now that you have figured it out and moved a bit ahead. It seems to be something that only Adobe engineers can comment on with authority. Did you try reaching to support and see if you could get help that way.

Hi @Johan5CD9,

Please reverify if the computers are ARM based or not. See the following link

If they are not then probably trying a different version of Creative Cloud Desktop app should be next step. If all fails then please contact support via Admin Console

We dont use ARM, I wrote that in my post.
