Adobe Creative Cloud, self install options, we are looking to offer our creative cloud licence as a sefl install, the issue we have is, once that user leaves we want the software to be removed from that user's  problem is we don't typically have a list of products that the user has installed, so we don't typically know what they would have installed, we were given this link Uninstall the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application which does nothing but uninstall the adobe desktop app, but leave all the other softwares install which is not what we want. we want all the installed adobe creative cloud software to be removed, is that a pipe dream or can it be done?

Hi @Gabriel29487908r14x,

Thanks for reaching out. Based on your query, you are looking for a way to automatically uninstall all Adobe software from a user's machine upon their departure. Please confirm if this is the assistance you require.

Here are a few approaches to achieve this:

  1. Using the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool
  • This tool can remove all installed Adobe applications, including the Creative Cloud desktop app.
  • It can be executed manually or via a script.
  • Refer to this guide for more details: Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
  1. Using the Adobe Uninstall Tool
  • As you have access to the Adobe Admin Console, you can navigate to Admin Console > Packages > Tools and download the Adobe Uninstall Tool to remove all Adobe software from a device.
  • More information is available in this documentation: Uninstall Creative Cloud Products.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance.

Yes this is just what I was searching for, however what do we do if we ran this adobe uninstaller, I ran this command  AdobeUninstaller.exe --all and it failed to uninstall the adobe desktop app, fresco and adobe xd, is there a reason this might of failed to remove those?

Hi @Gabriel29487908r14x,

Thank you for reaching out. I have just tested this on my machine with the specified applications, and it appears to be functioning as expected— all Adobe apps were successfully uninstalled. I recommend testing this again on your end.

Before proceeding, you may want to first list all installed Adobe applications on the machine and then attempt the uninstallation using an elevated Command Prompt.

Here are a few important points to consider:

  • Ensure the uninstaller is executed with administrative privileges, particularly in enterprise or education-managed environments where permission levels may affect execution.

  • Active Adobe processes such as Creative Cloud, CoreSync, CCXProcess, or Fresco can interfere with the uninstallation process. It is advisable to stop all Adobe-related processes prior to running the uninstaller.

Please let me know if you continue to experience issues or need further assistance.
