Adobe fixing file assocations after upgrade from reader DC

Adobe Reader DC over took Adobe Acrobat .pdf association on machines with acrobat 10.x on them.  is there a script that I can deploy to re-associate the .pdf with Acrobat?

No script. File handling has hooks everywhere.
