Question

Adobe Lightroom Cloud Storage is FULL in Business Profile

I work for a public University. When Personal/Business profiles were introduced last month, I selected the Business profile for my Lightroom assests (approximately 85,000 images/1.7 TB). These images are owned by the University, not me. The problem is,  I'm now getting a warning message in Lightroom that my cloud storage is full.  I only have 100 MB of storage space. I spoke with our University plan administrator who tells me the University has 40 TB of cloud space with Adobe, but he has no way to allocate it to individual users. Thus our campus is only using around 3 TB, as all of the users are limited 100 MB. Adobe has been ZERO help in resolving this issue. They suggested a work-around where I would transfer my assets to my Personal profile. However, these are not my images, and when I leave the University, they should remain with it. Adobe, PLEASE, help me increase the Lightroom storage in my Business profile so that I can back up my images in the Cloud.

Hi Tom,

Thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble with Lightroom. We're here to help.

I have reviewed your account. It could be an issue due to having multiple profiles (Business & Personal).

Go to Lightroom Web (https://lightroom.adobe.com) and sign in to your Adobe account.

Please check this article for help with selecting and logging in to other profiles associated with your email: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/manage-adobe-profiles.html

To learn more about Adobe Profiles, check this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/introducing-adobe-profiles.html

If your images are not stored in any of the profiles, you can log in with any other email accounts that you might have used with Adobe Lightroom. If you wish to move your assets from one account to the other, you can use the Adobe Lightroom Downloader App. Check this to learn more: https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-cc/kb/download-lightroom-photos.html

It is advised you reach us via chat/call support channels. Visit this page to initiate a chat from the chat bubble on the right corner of the page: https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html

Thanks!

Charles

Thanks for the quick response. All 85,000 images are indeed still located in the Lightroom Web. However, within the Lightroom application, it still says my Cloud storage is full. Is it full or can I add more images? Will the storage space eventually go away, since there is no process for using more? Lightroom is telling me I only have 100 MB of storage space.

I should also note that any new photos that I've added to Lightroom are not being backed up in the Cloud. See my screen shot for the error message I'm getting.
