Adobe work account vs. student account

I recently started a job that has its own account with adobe for us to use. I currently also have a student account and am also taking a class while working. I would rather not have to pay for an account but am not sure if I would lose my portfolio I created on my student account with adobe portfolio... and if I should keep my work and school projects with separate accounts? Or would it be fine to just use my work account for all of it?

Think of it this way.  Whoever pays for your Adobe Creative Cloud account owns it and all the work you create with it. So for a lot of reasons, it's best to keep work/school and personal accounts separate.  That way there can be no disputes when you leave about who owns what.

If you pay for your own account, it's yours for as long as you keep paying.
