All programs ask for sign in

We have around 100 licenses bought through the Adobe for Teams method. We've had three different computers over the past week sign out of all apps and say that it's a trial now. It asks to sign in with an account but we aren't using accounts for these as the license is built into the installer. We are able to fix it by uninstalling everything and reinstalling it but that is time consuming.

Any ideas as to what's causing this and how to fix it without having to uninstall?

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

This typically happens because when installing the Creative Cloud Desktop Application has been included. If a user signs in to CCDA with an Adobe ID with some kind of product entitlement it can override the device license. So the best practice is not to include CCDA within your package.

Also, if you run into this issue again it is not necessary to uninstall and reinstall. You can use the Creative Cloud Packager to create a license file and just run that on the pc.

Hi,

Creative Cloud for Teams always requires a sign-in with an Adobe ID.

Are you using a device license perhaps?

Yes. We are using device based licenses. I wound up uninstalling and reinstalling on this machine because it needed to be up and running as soon as possible. But I'm still looking to see if there's a reason this is happening and if there's a simpler fix.

The steps there ask for a sign in though which we aren't using.
