Question

Am I paying for my student account?

I personally can no longer afford to pay for my subscription and just realized that I was paying for two subscriptions (my fault). I went to cancel the first one, which was under my personal email address. Cancelling that account was very easy because it gave me the option to view my payment and subscription options. However, when I log into the second account under my school email, I have no way of viewing my payment options or subscription options. This leads me to believe that I don't have to pay and that it's being covered by my school. But once again, I am being charged twice, with $17/month and $21/month, so it's clear that it is, in fact, two separate subscriptions. I tried to check out my school's covered products, but an Adobe plan was not one of them. I have no other accounts, and customer care has been useless. I hope someone knows the answer!

Hi Rita,

Some schools are taking advantage of considerable discounts and offer Creative Cloud subscription as part of their curriculum. Such subscriptions always come with an Enterprise account, meaning that the school attributes the licences that they have acquired. You will pay the school if it is not included into your tuition fees.

If that is the case, you do not have control over the subscription, as the school allocates it. The school can also terminate it. If you can't manage your account, it's managed by the school and as such it is an Enterprise account, and you need to contact your school's helpdesk to know more about that. https://account.adobe.com/plans while being signed in with your school ID.

I also would like to add that it does specify my school's name when I am on the "Account" option, so once again, evidence that it's not just a regular student account and it is directly connected to my school. This also makes me think that it is covered by my school, but wouldn't that mean that I'm not supposed to be charged any bills? This is really frustrating because I don't have the money for this right now 😕😕

Then it's an Enterprise account managed by your school and the school will invoice you if it is not included. If the charge is from Adobe, you will need to check again with Adobe support.

Some schools also use a third party service provider to manage this, you should be able to check that with your school's helpdesk.

Just to remind you: with Enterprise licences, you won't have Adobe support. The school's helpdesk is responsible for that, and they can contact support if they cannot solve your problems.
