API for Getting List of Activated Devices

I've recently come across of the User Management API and have realized that through it, it was possible to get the list of products and the number of assigned users to each. Now, I pressume that it only works if you're deploying your licenses via named-user licensing. But what then if I'm using shared device licensing? How will I be able to get the list of machines assigned to each product?
