Hi, is there an API existing for Lightroom Auto Upright image correction? We are a startup for AI image processing and like to use this feature from Adobe Lightroom for an automated process.

Is it existing and under which conditions?

Hi @Ai4Real.ai,

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, there is an API that provides Auto Straighten functionality through the Firefly Services – Lightroom API. The API includes an autoStraighten endpoint, which applies Lightroom’s automated straightening correction. This feature analyzes the image and corrects tilted or distorted vertical and horizontal perspectives to produce a properly aligned result. The autoStraighten endpoint (/autoStraighten) performs the automated straightening operation used in Lightroom.

You can refer to the documentation here:
https://adobe.ly/3MLPpJX
https://adobe.ly/48XkHq2

If you plan to use this API, you will need the following prerequisites:

• An Adobe Developer Console account.
• An active Enterprise contract with Firefly Services included.
• A project with Lightroom API OAuth Server-to-Server credentials configured.
• Access to your Client ID and Client Secret from the Adobe Developer Console. These credentials should be stored securely and not exposed in client-side or public code.

Prerequisites and setup are detailed here:
https://adobe.ly/3MNjqsQ

If you are interested in purchasing access, you will need an Enterprise contract with Firefly Services enabled. You can also request that your Adobe representative provide access to the Lightroom API and assist you with setup. To begin the conversation, you can complete the consultation form here:
https://adobe.ly/4pnUYg6

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance or have additional questions.
