Are private high school students elligible for Student access during Covid-19?

My son is trying to complete his graphic design class online during SIP. When I asked his teacher if the school was setup so that my son could access Creative Cloud via Adobe's generous program to give students access during the pandemic, he said no. That as a private school, they were excluded from the offer.

Is this true?

Hi Michael,

The Schools and universities who currently make Creative Cloud apps available to students through on-campus labs can request temporary at-home access for their students and educators, at no additional cost.

I'm sure this has nothing to do with public vs private schools and everything to do with the contract your son's school has with Adobe. In the absence of a contract to use Creative Cloud apps & services on campus, there's nothing to transfer to students & faculty for at home access.
