Question

Attempting to set up Adobe Express for my school via Google Workspace but this fails on dashboard creation.

I am attempting to set up Adobe Express for my school using the K-12 Onboarding Wizard via Google Workspace.

I have successfully added and "Trusted" both Adobe Client IDs in my Google Admin Console (under API Controls > App Access Control). However, when I return to the Adobe setup page to confirm, I receive the following error message:

"Failed to create Adobe admin console"

I am super admin and have verified the Client IDs are correct, set them to "Trusted," and attempted to "Retry" the setup several times, but the error persists.

I can’t find anyone to contact to look into this - can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

    Hi @DPorterKC,

Thank you for reaching out, and we appreciate you detailing the steps you've already taken. We understand how important it is to get Adobe Express up and running for your school, and we want to help you get past this as quickly as possible.

Before we look into this further, could you please confirm the following:

    • You are completing the wizard using a Google Workspace Super Admin account, the wizard requires Super Admin access to configure the Single Sign-On and complete the setup. The full requirements and steps are documented here: https://adobe.ly/4t8w4SS

    • Your school qualifies as an eligible Local Education Agency (LEA) - Adobe Express for K-12 is free to eligible primary and secondary institutions. You can verify your eligibility here: https://adobe.ly/4uhHIvA

    • You have trusted all required Adobe Client IDs in your Google Admin Console under Security > Access and Data Controls > API Controls > Manage Third-Party App Access. The full list of Client IDs that need to be trusted is available as a downloadable CSV here: https://adobe.ly/4taArwN, please verify that you've trusted all the IDs listed, not just two.

    • If you do not already have an existing Adobe Admin Console for your school, the K-12 Onboarding Wizard is designed specifically for schools or districts that do not yet have one. If a console already exists for your domain, the wizard may fail.

Since you don't yet have an Admin Console, you won't be able to use the in-console Support tab to reach us. I have sent you a personal messagePlease check and respond at your earliest convenience.

For reference, here are the official guides for the setup process:

Please let us know how it goes. We're happy to assist further.

    Thanks,
    ^BS
