AUSST 4 (Mac) — Endless errors in logs when running Fresh or Incremental (still exits with code 0)

Been trying to get a new AUSST 4 server set up for the last week and constantly getting errors. Running AUSST on a dedicated machine for AUSST and CC Packager. Whether I run AUSST Fresh or Incremental, AUSST ends with exits with code 0, but reports 77 errors.

Looking at clean logs, right from the start, AUSST outputs the following over and over and over throughout the process...

10/27/16 10:43:47:098 | [FATAL] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Unable to take engine lock as another installation is running.

10/27/16 10:43:47:098 | [FATAL] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Error occurred in creating session with error code '108'

10/27/16 10:43:47:098 | [INFO] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Exiting hdpimCreateSession, new session ID is '(null)'

10/27/16 10:43:47:098 | [ERROR] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | failed to create hdpimsession with error code 108

As well, I also get a lot of "Download Failed" lines (though, reports as INFO, not ERROR), as the process goes on, such as...

10/27/16 10:43:47:099 | [INFO] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Download failed for HD Product ACR 9.6 9.6.0.126 win32

10/27/16 10:43:47:100 | [INFO] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Download failed for HD Product ACR 9.7 9.7.0.112 osx10-64

10/27/16 10:43:47:100 | [INFO] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Download failed for HD Product ACR 9.6 9.6.0.126 osx10-64

10/27/16 10:43:47:103 | [INFO] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Download failed for HD Product AEFT 13.8.1 13.8.1.38 osx10-64

10/27/16 10:43:47:104 | [INFO] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Download failed for HD Product AEFT 13.8.0 13.8.0.144 osx10-64

10/27/16 10:43:47:104 | [INFO] |  | AAMEE | HUM | HUMInterface |  |  | 1969402 | Download failed for HD Product AME 10.4.0 10.4.0.26 win64

Anyone have a clue what might be wrong?

I've now clean-installed and rebuilt this server 3 times this week.

I've also installed AUSST 4 on a completely different machine/different network (at home) and get the same sort of errors.

Not sure what's going on and would appreciate any insight?

Regards,

Kristin.

I can check with our engineering team, but they will need the complete logs. Can you share a link? Probably best to send me a PM with the link (click on my name to do this). Thanks.

Check the documentation as some steps have changed (step 11 in particular)

Using the Adobe Update Server Setup Tool (AUSST)

Well, I've been working on this this week, so not sure when the steps have "changed", but the link you provided is the only documentation I've been able to find on AUSST 4, so that's what I've been following.

As well, "step 11"...the only "step 11" in that documentation seems to be for an IIS 8.5. I should have mentioned, I'm following the steps for Setting up HTTP server via a OS X running XAMPP (exactly like the documentation shows). Is there another "step 11" I'm missing?

Step 11, if I was running ISS, would have kinda explain the "Download Failed" issue (though, if that was the case, all of my downloads would be failing, not just random ones). But, it wouldn't explain the HUMInterface errors?

Also—why are the Download Failed lines not ERRORS, but rather just listed as INFO?

    k.
