Boss needs to access billing history

He asks for my password and email each time 

 

Today I had to log out to let him access. This is not a right way to do things. i tried to make him owner of billing as an admin but got an error. What are we supposed to do ? This is a company account that I have set up with company credit card. He doesnt want to manage anything but to see bills..

(Ps.its the same pass to my personal and biz account for some reason I dont get)..please help.

Upon checking, it appears that you currently have an active individual license associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query. If you're looking to access your invoice, you can follow the steps outlined in the following Adobe help article:

As mentioned in the above thread, if your manager or another team member needs access to billing history, this functionality is not available on individual plans. To allow shared access to billing and administrative functions, we recommend upgrading to a Creative Cloud for Teams or Enterprise subscription.

By upgrading to a Teams subscription, you can assign a contract owner (such as your supervisor), who will have access to billing information via the Adobe Admin Console. More information on managing invoices within Teams or Enterprise subscriptions can be found here:

Hi there,

 

As @Test Screen Name mentioned, 'You MUST NOT divulge the password to anyone, not even your boss - it's forbidden.'

 

Hence here is the procedure to change the contract owner. If you are facing an error while changing the contract owner, Let us know what error you are having trouble with.

Same issue.  We have a teams account and a large team.  The only way for our accountant to get the invoices it for them to be a full admin on the account.  That's a security issue.  Adobe just needs to have a way to add billing email addresses.  I'm so tired of their portal it's 10 years behind everyone else.

On the other hand, maybe it is a team account already. You say there is an error assigning your boss as administrator, so I should have picked that up. Well, assigning him as administrator is what you should do, so what is the error message (make sure there is no personal info in it)?

It sounds as if you have a personal account. This is not suitable for you. (1) You MUST NOT divulge the password to anyone, not even your boss - it's forbidden (2) Payment is between you and Adobe. If a third party provides the card they do not get any rights to your account. (3) In future, your boss also has no right to cancel or transfer the account if you leave or are reassigned roles.

 

What your company needs is a Team account. This has an administrator who pays the (single) bill for all people, and assigns accounts - and can take them back.

Can't you forward an email of the invoice to him from your Admin Console?
