i've never purchased a volume license, but my understanding is each license allows a maximum number of installations on different computers.  (you can reinstall on the same computer without limit).

once you reach the number of allowed installations you can no longer install.

that seems apply to your situation.  ie, having a volume license does not allow installation on an unlimited number of computers.

i'm going to move this thread to a more appropriate forum where the experts there can correct/append info i've given.  (i'm not an expert in enterprise installations.)

    Hi Kglad,

Thank you so much for your time. You have been very responsive and very helpful. I think we can put this to rest and hope that the one laptop we have lasts a while longer.

    Kind Regards,

    Robert

using a browser that allows popups and cookies, contact adobe support during pst business hours by clicking here and, when available, click 'still need help', https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html and request an activation count reset.

    Dear Kglad,

I certainly appreciate your timely response and honest suggestion. I apologize for the delayed response. I sincerely belI eve you honestly tried to help me out but the individual who contacted me via email directly was not a honest individual impersonating Adobe support. Today I tried once more to chat with the real Adobe support but to no avail. This was the first time ever using a forum and it was a bad experience. Keep up your diligence, seeking people who need assistance with technical issues such as mine, My clouded judgement led me in the wrong direction this time around.

    Kind Regards,

    Robert
