Cannot Uninstall creative cloud to reinstall for creative cloud update error/bug

My font kit unexpectedly detatched and I need to resync.  This is being stopped b/c I cannot update CC as it's stopped on that 5% mark and showing not connected to network.  Forums are saying that uninstall and reinstall is successful but I cannot because an error appears showing that CC cannot be uninstalled with other programs installed that require it.  Please help - I've tried closing all programs and restarting multiple times with no success.  On Windows 7.

Photoshop and DC were uninstalled, Illustrator is not responding.
