Cannot use Acrobat Pro when not connected

Question

My job requires me to work in areas with no wifi or internet access at times.  I have been able to use my Adobe Acrobat Pro in these situations for years to scan in documents and do related work.  Recent updates to Adoboe Acrobat Pro DC (ver 2019.021.20049) have included changes that require internet access to validate the software license (I guess) before I could use it.  This means I can no longer use Acrobat Pro unless connected to the internet.  Is there a solution for this?  So far I have had to resort to scanning in documents using Photoshop, which brings them in as an image and not a document.  It works, but it's a much less than optimal solution.

Subscription licenses require regular Internet authentication.
Acrobat has a 2017 version of a perpetual license that can only be used with serial number + first-time Internet authentication, so you can choose that.

However, considering the support period of Acrobat 2017 is not so long, it is necessary to consider introduction.
