CC Syncing stuck in a loop

I've looked this up in a few different places and can't seem to find a concrete answer.  My CC has been stuck in a syncing loop for over a week, specifically the files in one particular folder.  The folder name was changed and now when sync is on it just keeps alternating back and forth between the old name and the new one.  I can't select either of these folders unless I pause the sync.  I can still access the files and I believe they are still syncing to the cloud, but this is a work folder and I'm not sure if my boss or others can access my work or not.  I've tried closing everything, signing out of CC and restarting, but still no luck.

Hello,

You can also access your synchronised files from the web interface at https://assets.adobe.com/files - I suggest trying to rename the directory in question on there having logged out of Creative Cloud on your computer. This should break the loop. Otherwise, you may beed to delete the directory on the web interface and recover it from the "Deleted" section.

As always, please ensure you have a backup before making any of these changes in case the folder gets removed - you should be able to create a copy after logging out of Creative Cloud.

Sincerely,

Dom
