Question

CCLibrary still causing fan spin up Feb 2022

occurs on the 2019 16" Macbook Pro's especially, even those that are fully CC updated

CCDA version is 5.6.0.788

CC Library version is 3.18.3.19

CC Process version is 4.7.4.4

Machines running macOS 11.5.1 to 11.6.3

Activity Monitor and quitting CCLibrary or CCProcess will definitely return the fans to normal, but then at some not too distant point in the future, the issue resumes.

Verified no machines are enabled for File Sync (not supported at our org), none have files locally on on the web version of CC

Hi there,

We had some users complain about the excessive processing causing the machines to overheat and which was caused by AdGuard app, see the resolution shared here.

If this is not whats causing the issue for you, I would recommend contacting the support team directly by initiating a chat session through the support tab in your Adobe Admin Console.

Let us know if this helps.

Hi,

our org doesnt use AdGuard.

I have uploaded two logs(using Adobe Log Collector tool) from affected machines and waiting to hear back.

We have at least 6 people reporting in with Adobe created file processes that when quit in Activity Monitor, the fan noise returns to normal (but then the issue returns a few days or a week later).

What is so strange is - this problem was reported in 2020, and its now Feb 2022.
