Changing of VIP ID, mantaining the same users, access to documents in the cloud

Hello,

We have a company licence, with same Adobe products subscribed, with several users, most of them using the cloud storage.

Last month we changed the supplier and VIP ID, creating a new account, but mantaining all the users (but we needed to create them again).

In this process the users on the new account are not able to access to the documents that they had previoulsy on the Adobe Could.

How the give the access, once that they are the same users, using the same Adobe tools?

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi @Friendly_idea9105,

Thanks for reaching out. Based on your query, you have changed the supplier and VIP ID, recreated the same users in the new account, but now those users cannot access their previous cloud documents. Please confirm if this is the issue you need assistance with.

Changing the reseller/VIP ID creates a new organization, so cloud assets tied to the old organization are not automatically visible in the new one. Users must migrate or manually transfer their content from the old profile to the new profile, or an admin must reinitiate the asset-migration flow where eligible.

I recommend checking whether the old VIP ID is still active. If the old account is accessible, an admin can sign in to the Admin Console to confirm user status. Users can also log in at https://adobe.ly/4lR98nI using their old credentials to download or export assets manually.

Please review the following documentation on how to transfer files across accounts or profiles: https://adobe.ly/4lPqwJu

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

Hello Anshul,

Thank you very much for your fast answer, it's been useful.

There are yet some cases that can not access to the files, and we are still looking to a pattern to see if it's related with having, or having not, Creative Cloud, or just Acrobat Pro.

If needed we came back here.

Once again thank you very much.

Hi @Friendly_idea9105,

Thank you for your update and kind feedback. I’m glad to hear the information shared was helpful. Since you mentioned some users are still unable to access their old files, could you please confirm if they are logging in with the account linked to the old VIP contract?

Awaiting your response.

Regards,
