Convert account from Teams to Personal

Hi,

my Adobe ID is associated with an Adobe Teams organization, and the organization has informed me that they are unable to take any action to remove it. Because of this, I’m unable to activate a Personal license that I have already purchased.

How can I remove my account from the Teams organization and restore it as a Personal account, so I can complete the activation?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi @d_mancini,

Thanks for reaching out. Based on your query, it appears that you are facing issues accessing your personal subscription and are looking to remove the business (Teams) profile associated with the Adobe ID (email) you used to post this query. Please confirm if this is the issue you need assistance with.

As checked, I can see that you currently have an active Creative Cloud Pro Individual license as well as an active Teams subscription associated with the same Adobe ID. To access your personal subscription (Individual license), please select the Personal profile during sign-in. When signing in, you will see a profile chooser—select the personal account to access your individual license. To access the license associated with your Teams subscription, select the work or school account (business profile).

Additionally, if you are looking to remove your profile from the Teams organization, you can follow the steps outlined in the following document:
https://adobe.ly/44BQQkw

Please note that since you are the contract owner of the Teams subscription, you will first need to nominate another user as the contract owner. You can refer to the document below for steps on how to do this:
https://adobe.ly/4j320og

Once another user has been assigned as the contract owner, you will be able to remove yourself from the Teams organization.

I hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.

Regards,
^AN
