Creative Cloud and Enterprise Network Storage

This has probably been covered somewhere, but it seems to be hidden.  Have about seven Mac CS5 users and a Windows files server with several terabytes of graphics data.  Considering switching to Creative Cloud but have read several variations of "you cannot share from or save files to on a network souce" and "you can only send a link to the cloud file".

Wondering if this is true.  Are there alternatives like saving to the desktop, then copying to a network share.
